I just wanted to let you know we really enjoy the PaceMaster Platinum Pro. This is the first treadmill we have ever owned. I really work up a sweat working on the machine. The machine keeps our heart rate under control and slows down the machine if our heart rate gets too high. Thanks - this is one of the very few machines made in the USA. It is nice to be able to buy American products.

Funny, they all tried to compare their treadmills to the Pacemaster, that's what really sold us. I have been the proud owner of a PaceMaster ProPlus HR treadmill since 1998. It is quiet and comfortable with easy to use programs and controls. The cushioned/flexible deck absorbs shock and is especially kind on the knees and back. My wife and I use the treadmill 4-5 times a week. She walks 2-3 miles per session at a 5-10 degree incline; I usually use the heart rate monitor program which keeps me in my target heart rate zone. At 6'5" and over 200 lbs I am hard on a treadmill but the Pacemaster ProPlus has met the challenge performing flawlessly for over seven years. Despite frequent, long distance moves I make in the Air Force the treadmill has always performed faithfully, never requiring repairs or unscheduled maintenance. This long track record of reliable performance is a testament to the durability and high quality construction found in this product. I would recommend PaceMaster treadmills to anyone interested in an outstanding, trouble-free, high quality treadmill at a very reasonable price.

In April 2002, I gave a testimonial regarding my PaceMaster Pro-Plus HR that still applies today. In April 2005, my Pro-Plus was moved by non-professionals movers to a new apartment. I am very pleased to say that it stood up to that and works perfectly. I also wanted to say that this machine is very easy to move to different locations within my home. Personally, I think my machine is as good a quality as the machines in health clubs (just not as huge) and it certainly is higher-quality than the ones in both the exercise rooms in my apartment buildings.

Thank you for your prompt response. We decided that it was more important to buy the right treadmill than to buy an offshore built foldup. We purchased a Pacemaster Pro Elite yesterday from Omni Fitness in Succasunna, NJ. and brought it home.
It set up easily (we 50 somethings even managed to buggy lug it up the split stair case (aah, aluminum). It is a marvel of engineering (plug in console, cooling fins on Pacific Scientific motor) although I might have moved that sensor to the inside - we were told to be VERY careful when removing the cover.
Anyway, it works great and hopefully when we retire and have a real need for a folding treadmill you folks will be building one.
Thank you again and thank you for letting us buy AMERICAN.

Just wanted to tell you that my wife and I are really enjoying the Pace master proselect we recently purchased from you. Your recommendation of the heart rate monitor system vs the entry level machine was excellent. It is well worth the additional money. My wife and I are both using the heart monitor programs for all our training. We love it. I was surprised, but I am training more efficiently and have more energy. It's like having a personal trainer.
We had no problem in setup. The machine is quiet and sturdy.

I've owned my Pacemaster Pro-Plus for four years and have put over 3600 miles and 500 hours on it. I have been extremely pleased with the performance and reliability of the treadmill and support from the Pacemaster people. After knee surgery a few years back (I'm in my mid 40's), I found the flexibility of the deck allowed me to increase my miles without the pain and problems I had when running only outside. As a physician, I recommend this type of training to my patients with similar joint problems.

My wife and I have had a Pacemaster ProPlus II for a little more than a year and have put 2400 miles on it. This has been the most trouble-free product we have ever purchased. The cushioning is just right and no adjustments have had to be made. We had a "highly rated" Tunturi before and it was nothing but trouble, so this is a particularly pleasant experience. We are the proud owners of a PaceMaster ProElite Treadmill, purchased in August 2002 immeadiately after my cast was removed from a broken leg. I searched high and low many mid-level and high-end brands for the best value I could find. I never regret this decision! From the beginning, I used it for slow walking while my wife enjoyed the preset programs. I am now back up to speed and we've accummulated 500+ miles on the machine. I am in better shape now than I was before I broke my leg in May of 2002!! My wife and I look forward to many years of enjoyment.

I just wanted to write and thank you for making a great product. We purchased our treadmill last summer when I was 8 months pregnant, knowing that my ability to leave the house on long runs would soon become much more difficult when I was home with a newborn. After my son was born in August, I used the treadmill nearly every day and quickly returned to my pre-pregnancy level of fitness. It was especially nice to have it this past winter, when we had one of the snowiest winters in PA's history. As a physical therapist, I have had the opportunity to use many "high end" treadmills. My Pace Master by far exceeds the performance of any treadmill I have seen in a rehab clinic. I especially appreciated the relative quiet of your treadmill, as I often use it while my son is napping. And now, the tradition continues, as it has become my son's favorite piece of "furniture" in our living room to climb on!!

Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for making such a great product! I had wanted to get a treadmill for some time but was discouraged by all the products in my price range. They were either too big, too noisy (we're talking jet planes taking off!) or too "sloppy" feeling. I just bought the Pacemaster ProElite. This is the greatest treadmill ever! I was going to the gym and using their newest, biggest, and most expensive Star Trek treadmill before. I thought that this was the best and that I would have to spend over five thousand dollars for a decent treadmill. I was looking around for some treadmills since my wife and I have talked about it. We decided to buy one but we didn't know which one to get. I went to a store and tried the Pacemaster ProElite. It was an instant sell. I am one of those types of guys that I will be damned if I am going to buy workout equipment and let it collect dust in my home regardless of how much or how cheap it was. I want to abuse the thing. The Pacemaster is so much more comfortable run than the Star Trek or any other gym treadmill that I have used. I have been using it virtually everyday and so has my wife and not a single problem. It is extremely sturdy and very easy to use and program. For anyone with a two thousand dollar budget,

All I can say is what a fantastic product you have in the Pacemaster ProPlus II !! Our new treamill was delivered to us yesterday by the knowledegable folks at Front Line Fitness in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
My wife and I are serious runners who have had it running in the dark here in RI during the fall and winter.
We finally decided on a treamill purchase. After some intense research over the course of 2 weeks we decided that dollar for dollar the ProPlus II was the machine for us.
Last night we each did our first workouts on the machine at home. Wow, we absolutely love it. I tried two of the preset workouts and soon discovered that my running can only improve with the ProPlus II. One of the features we really like is the fact that speed, distance, calories burned and incline all have their own windows for viewing. Unlike some machines that cost considerably more money.

I brought a Pacemaster Pro-Plus 5 years ago and would like to know how many miles it has on it. My dealer said there is a way, but I can't figure out how to do it nor are there instructions in the literature I received with the machine.
BTW, the treadmill has been GREAT for our family. During the past 5 years my three kids and I have used it often, especially during the past two summers when the older two are home from college. We've been very happy with our Pacemaster.

I did a search on the web and found you guys are still around! I have a Pacemaster 870x that I bought brand new in 1986! I payed around $1400.I would just like to say what a GREAT piece of hardware this unit has been all these years.By todays standards,this looks like a dinosaur with its chrome trim and "hand" crank elevation. There have been periods where this unit has been in storage for several years at a time, but when I plug it back in and fire it up,it has NEVER-EVER missed a beat! I have never even adjusted the belt! I recently began using it again after the fourth of July and have dropped nearly twenty pounds. ... this baby is built like a tank.Thank you for building a quality "Made in USA" product that has lasted me some 16 years of service..problem free!

I just wanted to write you guys a quick note to say how impressed I am with your treadmill. My wife bought it for me about three years ago and it's still running as good as the day I got it. I weigh 180 lbs. and run a 7:00 / mile pace on it. My usual run is between six and ten miles. I use it almost everyday of the week during the winter months (December - March.) I weigh over two hundred and fifty pounds and was concerned whether the ProElite was sturdy enough. "Well ... our PaceMaster Pro-Plus has made it to the 9000 mile mark! Actually 9001 as of 3/30/01. Thek and I can't tell you how pleased we are with this machine... Back in '96 we decided to abandon running on the roads during the winter and retreat to the safety and warmth of our basement, so we started searching for a reliable and inexpensive treadmill. We bought the first one at our local Costco for $700 and started running - it lasted for two weeks before we burned out the motor. Thinking this was just bad luck, we returned it and brought home another - again, it lasted for two weeks! It was obvious that our running needs were beyond the capabilities of the majority of the treadmills offered at the local department stores. We did some research and wound up (at our local fitness specialty dealer's) step. We generally run for 6 to 10 miles in a session, at speeds varying between 6 to 8.5. There are many 'walking' hours logged also - What can we say except "Thank You" for manufacturing a quality product."

"I'm not sure if this is a good place to do this, but I wanted to let you know how highly I think of your treadmills. I purchased a PaceMaster Pro-Plus a while back, and it has been nothing but outstanding! Not a single problem over the course of over a year under extremely heavy use. When I first bought it, I weighed about 330 or 340. The motor and belt functioned flawlessly even under my heavy weight (which was quite a bit over the recommended weight limit). With constant, daily use, I have lost 130+ pounds and am now under 200 for the first time in my adult life. The treadmill keeps going strong and I will continue to use it until the day it breaks, which may be never the way things are going now. I even talked my sister into buying one, which she did. I just wanted to let you know what a great machine it is and I am very happy I decided to go with the PaceMaster."
