Q. Why can't I adjust the speed using the Faster or Slower buttons during the warm up or cool down.
A. This is because the treadmill's computer automatically adjusts the speed during the warm up and cool down phases.
Q. I was making a speed change during my workout, the word "End" was displayed in the speed window, then the treadmill stopped. What happened?
A. This usually occurs when a speed change is being made and the user unknowingly touches the Start/Stop button. The Start/Stop is made sensitive for safety reasons.
Q. Do I need to perform any maintenance on my treadmill?
A. Your PaceMaster treadmill comes to you from the manufacturer prepared to provide many years of maintenance free service. No lubrication is required. Recommended maintenance is to keep the treadbelt centered and clean. Note: Consult the owner's manual for more details.
Q. I purchased the PaceMaster Pro-Plus treadmill, non-heart rate model. Can I upgrade this treadmill with the heart rate control feature?
A. Unfortunately, no upgrade is available due to the many internal differences between the two products.
Q. When I inserted the magnetic key my treadmill did not turn on. I checked the outlet with another electrical device and the outlet works. What happened?
A. Your treadmill has a built-in circuit breaker located on the front of the treadmill next to the power cord. If the circuit breaker has been tripped a tab will be protruding from the center. Press to reset. If the circuit breaker trips regularly, contact your local dealer for service.
Q. Why should I send in my warranty card?
A. Having your name and address on file allows us to notify you of potential product upgrades and enhancements. Our mailing list is not sold. It's used exclusively for the benefit of our customers.

Q. If my treadmill requires service, who do I call?
A. Contact the dealer where you purchased your PaceMaster treadmill. They are also your authorized service center. If you have moved since the purchase of your treadmill, use the Dealer locator on this site to find the authorized dealer nearest you.
Q. My treadmill is making a very loud buzzing noise. Why?
A. The "Power Saver Switch", (located underneath the front of the treadmill) may have been switched to the High-Speed setting. After unplugging the treadmill, turn it on its side and confirm that the switch is in the Power Saver setting. Note: The High-Speed setting is only necessary for speeds in excess of 7.5 mph.
